Shelbie Mitchell

Shelbie is a native of Cibolo, Texas. She started her playing career at the age of 13, graduating from Byron P. Steele II High School, where she played varsity volleyball and varsity soccer. She received her BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M.

Her indoor coaching career started 16 years ago and she has mentored various age groups with different levels of play. She has coached consecutive seasons at John Paul II Catholic High School, as well as various club teams in San Antonio. In addition to the indoor game, Shelbie has been coaching beach volleyball for 4 years, and currently serves as co-director of BEAST Beach in Seguin.

She has a passion for developing confident, strong-minded athletes and uses her upbeat coaching style to empower young athletes to be the best versions of themselves on and off the court.
